What if Mikaeel Jackson had died here?

What if Mikaeel Jackson had died here?
Mpmages | Jul 10, 09 2:08pm
As I was watching Michael Jackson's memorial service on Tuesday, we had a discussion at home about what would have happened if he had died in Malaysia.

The memorial service was grandly celebrated showing off his life and his contributions.

But since it has been reported that the King of Pop had converted to Islam in 2008, his death if it had taken place here, would have been very different.

Hospital officials are obliged to inform the religious authorities of whichever state he died about his death. Then the authorities will come to the hospital to claim his body and will most probably refuse the right of his family members to have such a memorial.

Hindraf Is On The Right Track….

Hindraf struggle is divine. It is a free movement which will pressure any political party which tries to bully Malaysians, especially the marginalized minority community in Malaysia.DAP`s incompetence in handling Kampung Pala`s problem may have caused Hindraf movement to pressure the state government.
Therefore, I will strongly say that, Hindraf is doing the right things at the moment. The struggle’s motive and objective is still the same, which is fighting for the rights of the Indian community. Keep your good work…..brothers. GOD is with you………..

Brother Uthaya,Have no worries, Be strong and keep the struggle moving....

I would like to refer to the article entitled `Uthayakumar fears rearrest next week`. I would like to say something here. Man can only propose but GOD is the only one who can dispose the result. Man are not superior to GOD. GOD has already disposes his judgement which allows Hindraf leaders release.
It is very amusing to see the barbarian act of the police and home minister recently. It clearly shows that they are very scared of Hindraf and to silent the movement, they are trying to pull in brother Uthaya into KEMTA.

Post-mortem: Kugan 'starved and beaten' to death

Post-mortem: Kugan 'starved and beaten' to death
Syed Jaymal Zahiid | Mar 3, 09 3:24pm
An independent post-mortem report has revealed that deceased 22-year-old police detainee Kugan Ananthan had endured severe beatings and was also starved during his incarceration.

MCPX
The post-mortem conducted by a Universiti Hospital pathologist who was commissioned by the deceased's family found that the car theft suspect had died of kidney failure due to the assault.

The beatings had caused a breakdown in Kugan's muscle cells which then congested the blood flow and resulted in kidney failure.

The findings were revealed by the family's lawyer N Surendran at a press conference held in the PKR headquarters in Tropicana this afternoon.

MALAYSIAN HINDU SANGAM FAILED TO PROMOTE THE ACTUAL WAY OF CELEBRATING THAIPOOSAM DAY!

Let me give a clear picture of Thaipoosam celebration. According to Hinduism, Thaipoosam is the day where Hindu devotees fulfill their vows specifically for GOD Murugan.
The actual way of performing their ritual prayers is through offering milk for abishegam and taking decent kavadis ONLY in the temple coumpand. There is no such things like performing kavadi dances on the street which merely has become a plus point for the the tourism department to atrract tourist. Again I am saying here, there is a kind of manipulation happening in this Thaipoosam celebration. It is a clear cut Batu Caves commitees , MIC and UMNO BN are ONLY concern for the income in both sides, financial and tourism.

Malaysia falls short in fulfilling its promises to the
UN Human Rights Council
The Malaysian government should fully implement the recommendations issued by the UN's Universal Period Review (UPR) Working Group in Geneva today, Amnesty International said. The Working Group will adopt recommendations on Malaysia made during the country's review by the Human Rights Council on 11 February.
Some of the key recommendations included calls for repealing or amending the Internal Security Act (ISA) and guaranteeing freedom of expression, information and religion. Many countries also identified Malaysia's poor record in addressing human rights abuses against refugees and migrant workers.

Uthaya's foot injury getting worse

Uthaya's foot injury getting worse
S Pathmawathy | Feb 15, 09 2:39pm
Hindu Rights Action Force (Hindraf) incarcerated leader P Uthayakumar's alleged foot injury is worsening, said his fiancée S Indradevi, who lodged a police report on his behalf at the Brickfields police station this morning.
MCPX
Indradevi, who yesterday visited Uthayakumar at the Kamunting detention centre near Taiping, said the swelling of his left foot, believed to be caused by a fractured toe, was getting worse and probably infected.

Uthayakumar is one of the five Hindraf leaders held under the Internal Security Act (ISA) for their role in orchestrating a mass protest against the government in late 2007.

MAN PROPOSES, GOD DISPOSES....13th DECEMBER 2007- 13th FEBRUARY 2009 ( 420 DAYS)

It is 13th February 2009. The arrogant Umno BN federal government is still holding the grip on our 6 innocent brothers in attempt to silent the minority`s plight. As I said earlier, MAN CAN ONLY PROPOSE, GOD DISPOSES.
The man who can survive struggles, pain and troubles is the one who is blessed by GOD to become an achiever. So, let us face the brutal crimes thrown by the arrogant Umno BN with strong will and heart. GOD knows the truth and ALMIGHTY`S verdict will always favour the innocents. GOD bless all.

Something wrong about Syed Hamid

Something wrong about Syed Hamid
Jan 29, 09 2:02pm
Home Minister Syed Hamid Albar, who has been drawing much flak in the wake of the Kugan Ananthan case, came under fire again today for his '

MCPXheroes and demons' remark.

Seeing red over this, DAP stalwart Lim Kit Siang today concluded that Syed Hamid lacked the requisite mindset to initiate reforms in the police force.

Yesterday, the minister called on the people not to regard criminals as heroes, and the police who enforce the law, as demons.

"Malaysians, like people all over the world, do not regard criminals as heroes and the police as demons," said Lim in a statement.

Tamil issue as important as Palestinian issue

Tamil issue as important as Palestinian issue
Richard Kamalanathan | Jan 23, 09 5:10pm
The struggle of the Tamil people in Sri Lanka to find a solution to self-autonomy and self- determination for their own land where they have lived there since times unknown cannot come under the purview of a Sinhala-dominated polity.

MCPXWhile there has been a lot of confusion over terrorism and the independence struggle, it is quite clear now that the Tamils in Sri Lanka do not come under the purview of terrorism anymore but stand distinctly as freedom fighters.

Defeat 'spells trouble for Najib'

Defeat 'spells trouble for Najib'
Jan 17, 09 11:16pm

The ‘decisive' victory tasted by PAS in the Kuala Terengganu by-election today spelt trouble for the government as it prepares for a leadership transition, said an expert on Malaysian elections.

Bridget Welsh, a Southeast Asian expert at the US-based Johns Hopkins University, who observed the by-election, said PAS' victory would pose tough questions on incoming premier Najib Abdul Razak.

"This is going to call into question Najib's rise to the prime minister's position. There will be those who will question whether he can deliver effectively," she said.

Always In Our Remembrance : 13th day of every month, counts our heroes days in KEMTA

13th December 2007 13th Jan 2009

It has been more than a year our brave heroes have been detained brutaly under ISA. Their rights were seized . Their freedom have been siezed. Sam and the arrogant UMNO are trying their best to overtake H5 . Many dirty tactics were used on them to shut their voice. NOTHING work out for them.
Everyone knows that, truth will win. KEMTA is nearing its death . H5 heroes will get their freedom soon. Let`s wait for that day.

PUSH YOURSELVES UP THROUGH THE PULLING FACTORS

Let us define the phrase `PUSH YOURSELVES UP THROUGH THE PULLING FACTORS` . Actually I found this worthful phrase in a motivational speech which I heard few months ago. I intend to share this with all of you out there, no matter where we belong to. First, let me to define the phrase PULLING FACTORS. PULLING FACTORS are actually the emotions used in a wrong way to block our own success in whatever aspect we wish to achieve. In our daily life, we always come across emotions such as happiness, sadness, frustration, anger and disappointment. Each time a person is pushed into any emotional situation, he /she should take that situation as a stepping stone to continue his /her struggle to achieve whatever goal they want.

A testful year for H5 (13th Dec 2007 - 13th Dec 2008)

It is exactly one year Hindraf 5 heroes were detained unlawfully. I am sure everyone remember this date.

Highland Tower tragedy is the past, Bukit Antarabangsa tragedy is the present, Look out the future!

After the Highland Towers tragedy, this arrogant UMNO BN federal government failed to learn lesson. Those corrupted politicians who have high degree of greediness in them, neglected the lesson from Highland Tower tragedy and continued approving hill side projects .
Today, Bukit Antarabangsa residents became victims. Many sacrificed their lives for these corrupted politicians` greediness. Furthermore, 4,000 people were forced to evacuate from the area. Who is going to pay for their lost?

We are angry with MIC because of these reasons................

1. MIC does not like this Indian community to demand for its rights.
- Nov 25 2007 we witness the rise of brave souls who demand for the rights which was seized by the arrogant UMNO government.
-Mr. Sam is very selfish and he tends to bully those Indians who bravely voice out their disappointments through protest. One main evidence is the Batu Malai Murugan Temple incident.
-Mr. Sam wants to uphold tight his status as the only leader for Indians in MIC and he tends to backstab all Indians through spreading false propaganda about Indians economic status to the world.
- MIC still very eager to banish the pure movement named makkal sakhti after knowing its true objective.

Do not confront the poor Indians in a harsh manner

Do not confront the poor Indians in a harsh manner
Dr Mana | Nov 14, 08 4:27pm
The perception now is that the Indians in the country are being hounded, teased and condemned mercilessly. This was what was expressed to me by a few Britons I met in Bali the other day. Apparently, they had nothing positive to talk about Malaysia. This is just unfortunate.

Why must foreign perception towards Malaysia be at an all-time low now? There can be a few reasons to this. One obvious concern is the Hindraf issue. It seems like most foreigners I have met sympathise with the Indians in this country as there is a lot of publicity over this issue overseas.

Exactly 330 days unlawful detention !

13-12-2007 13-11-2008

Let us know that it is exactly 330 days H5 heroes have been detained brutally by the arrogant UMNO BN politicians. They are still in KEMTA unlike Raja Petra who is lucky enough to get his release soon.

Minister should resign for abusing his powers

Minister should resign for abusing his powers
P Ramakrishnan | Nov 12, 08 4:15pm
We refer to the Malaysiakini report 'Syed Hamid must resign'.
Judge Syed Ahmad Helmy Syed Ahmad of the Shah Alam High Court joins the ranks of the brave – who unfortunately are not many – in ruling that the detention of Raja Petra Kamarudin under the Internal Security Act was illegal and unconstitutional.

His detention was procedurally flawed in that the home minister had failed to follow ‘proper procedure under Section 8 of the ISA to issue the detention order against Raja Petra.’
