WE LOST A GREAT HINDRAF ACTIVIST.
“VEERAVANAKAM FOR SUBRAMANIAM A/L RETNASAMY”
Known as Maniam by HINDRAF family, a 45 year old HINDRAF activist passed away in a road accident on 20-6-2009. He had left behind his wife,15 year old son and a 13 year old daughter.
Maniam is among the ardent HINDRAF supporter who join hand in all struggles claiming for the equal rights of Indians in Malaysia. He had also taken part in the one day hunger strike at KLCC. A regular activist who made his last appearance at the prayers held in Taneer Malai Temple Penang on 13.6.09.
As a recognition of Maniam's support and contributions to HINDRAF, his coffin was draped with HINDRAF flag.
The funeral was attended by P.Uthayakumar, S.Jayathas and many other HINDRAF supporters thru out Malaysia.
Dear all, let us pray for his soul to rest in peace and our deepest condolence goes to the family and may the almighty gives the endurance and courage for them to go thru this difficult period. – OM SIVAYANAMA – VALGAE HINDRAF
